How does the Lumix payment process work?

When your event suppliers are confirmed through Lumix, each supplier is paid individually through the platform under a single, centralised process. You make one approved payment to Lumix, and we handle payments directly to every supplier according to their agreed terms. This ensures suppliers are paid on time and in full, while you benefit from one purchase order, one contract, and one point of accountability. Once all supplier payments are processed and discounts applied, we issue your rebate — your share of the secured savings — on the same day, along with a detailed reconciliation showing: Each supplier’s original rate The net rate achieved through Lumix Lumix’s fee Your rebate amount This keeps everything fully transparent, auditable, and compliant — simplifying finance while ensuring every supplier relationship runs smoothly.

How does the Lumix Rebate work?

When you book through Lumix, you pay your full approved event budget upfront. Lumix secures discounted supplier rates through aggregated buying power, and the total savings are shared with you. We take a small percentage (30%) of the savings as our fee, and the remaining 70% is rebated back to you on the same day ensuring you save instantly, not months later.

How is the rebate calculated

Your rebate is based on the total discount Lumix secures. For example, if suppliers would normally charge £50,000 and Lumix negotiates a £42,000 net rate, the £8,000 saving is split, 70% (£5,600) returned to you, and 30% (£2,400) retained by Lumix as our fee.

What proof do I get of the discount and rebate?

You’ll receive a transparent financial summary showing the supplier’s full price, negotiated discount, Lumix’s fee, and your rebate amount. Everything is documented for audit and finance sign-off.
